1   Who are Victory Riders?  Victory Riders consist of ordinary people from every walk of life who share a common desire to share and serve our Lord through motorcycle ministry.

2   Why the name Victory Riders?  We want everyone to know what it means to Ride and LIVE IN VICTORY.  Salvation through Jesus Christ offers us real victory over the sins that have enslaved us and our mission is to share that saving knowledge with everyone we come in contact with.

3   What is the purpose of Victory Riders?  Our purpose and existence is three-fold:  first to share the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ intentionally and unapologetically to all who have yet to accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior, secondly to build up the body of Christ through Biblical Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Service and lastly, to provide a venue for riders to participate in fun rides, benefits, fund-raisers and events while being surrounded by God loving biker enthusiasts.

4   What do we represent and WHO?  Victory Riders is a ministry of First Baptist Church Indian Trail and we promote Biblically based worship and teaching of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

5   Do you have to be a member of First Baptist to participate?  No, our goal is to bond all biker enthusiasts no matter what your church affiliation is. We welcome bikers from every walk of life and every denomination.

6   Is this a motorcycle club?  No, this is not a club but a ministry. Clubs are territorial, yet we seek and strive to represent no boundaries; just as God’s love has no boundaries or restrictions.

7   Do you have to own or ride a motorcycle to be a part of Victory Riders?  No, while most do ride, some choose not to and yet still serve in a great capacity and are an integral part of this ministry.

8   I’m looking for a fun, safe group to ride with, can I join in?  Absolutely, we encourage and welcome all biker enthusiasts, no matter what you ride, where you go to church or even if you are unchurched.  Come join us!!

9   What are the requirements or fees?  There are no requirements or fees, we simply want you to join us and see what we are all about.

10    Are women and children welcome?  Not only welcome, but encouraged!

11    What does SHARE THE ROAD, SHARE THE FAITH mean?  As we travel the roads and enjoy hanging out with other motorcycle enthusiasts we want them to experience not just the ride but the Faith that secures our salvation.

12    What type of events and mission projects are Victory Riders involved in?  As a grassroots ministry (this being our first year), we have been involved in several outreach and community mission projects as well as teaming up with other motorcycle ministries at biker events, benefits, swap meets and local rallies.  2013 will entail us getting more involved in the community, the church and outreach projects of all types.

13    How do I become a member and get on the mailing list for updates, calendar events and news?  Simply ASK!!  Just respond to this email or call the church office at 704-882-1005 or follow us on our Facebook page-Victory Riders.

14   What can I do NOW to support this ministry?  We covet your prayers for this ministry, our outreach efforts and our boldness in Christ.

If you know folks that enjoy riding as much as you do, then share this information with them and encourage them to join us. We pray that God continues to bless us and our efforts. Ride safe!

Frequently Asked Questions

There are hundreds of motorcyclists in this county and surrounding area who are lost and in need of our Savior. While this is our target as a motorcycle ministry, we are committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone we meet, not just motorcyclists, in hopes that all will come to repentance and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We have a passion to minister to the whole biking community, not just a certain segment. This includes the weekend biker as well as the professional and hard-core bikers. Our target is the motorcycle community as a whole; however, we should remain open to God’s leading and share Christ with anyone and everyone that we meet. This goes hand in hand with our Mission Statement of First Baptist Church Indian Trail; “Love and lead everyone we meet into an everyday walk with Christ!”

We are asked all the time about Victory Riders? To help answer some of these questions, we’ve put together this list to clear up any misconceptions about our ministry. Please review and feel free to share. Remember, ALL ARE WELCOME and ENCOURAGED to be a part of this exciting ministry.
